VERY useful PDFs from valve on texturing and character design stuff, well worth a read through for everyone, some core notes on design that get overlooked a lot.
Useful for all design and modelling so don't be put off by the character focus

Good find Adam - I don't agree with all the theories there, but the majority of it is useful, and it's a good guide for artists to get their work to fit the style of the game.

Littleclaude, your sharings are pretty good, and I agree that polycount.com is very awesome.
