Good progress.
I think the bump is too uniform and exaggerated on some metals, mainly the front of the train's body, which throws the scale off completely. The train feels like a toy train rather than a full scale train with normal metal. |

I agree with Martin, a telescope would be great.
Definitely take the bump down a little bit, and watch that fringe in your alpha, might be you're using tgas and the alpha channel isn't antialiased ? |

Ill pay a bit with the bump.
I am not using any alphas. Just a simple diffuse, Specular and bump map. But I'll look in to what I think you are talking about. I think it is 1 evil layer in the photoshop file. That and the bump and specular maps needs updating. Thanks for all the comments! |

Ok, now why not switch to a 21st century resolution/aspect ratio, fix your focal point and do some proper lighting? After you've got the lighting properly laid out, work on your shaders, as they'll look totally different.

Nicely modelled but there is no focal point in the image, it is just a large area of brownness. Definitely change up the angle, ratio and lighting ^ to be the parrot.

Thanks Kaya. I agree mostly with what you said. Except I am unclear about the aspect ratio. In a nutshell what is wrong with it?
