That looks really good for the first breaking wave Chunk - are you working on an advert that needs a digital sea at the moment? Or is this something that they get you to do in case it's required at some point in the future?

Yea first wave i'm satisfied with... the rest needs work :p
Trying to write a better expression for the force that drives the wave creation.
Just general R&D at the moment for the future lol!... I've got a long list of stuff I want to figure out how to do in Naiad :D

Have you tried doing it the way real waves are formed ? Would be interesting how it deals with non-flat seabeds etc.

looks as if the way the wave is created causes a temporary fall in the level of the water and so after the first wave the water sim wants to run back wards... almost killing the
h second wave. you could try to blocks beneath the surface colliding. potentially at different speeds so that the wave curls naturally. awesome work though, im always fascinated with fluid sims, this seems to be the best i have every seen.

cheers for the comment! :D
yea all waves after the first one are messed up :(
i've sorted out a better way of doing it but i'm waiting for the new version of Naiad to come out which will allow me to actually do it :D
