Hi, my name is Andrei and like everyone else, will be putting all my work that I produce during the 1st Year into this thread.

Please give me some input, what/how I can improve, what's gone wrong and/or right etc.. Thanks.

First up is my Shark Scene that the Beginners for Maya have been asked to make.

If i'm not mistaken, I remember Sol saying last week that we'll be texturing and lighting our Scenes this week.

I'll also soon be uploading some of my work from the Street Scene in Concept Art.

Cheers.

A shoddy attempt at a Goldfish lol. You can tell which one I spent more time on ...

Maybe if we do any texturing tomorrow I'll be able to make it look more 'goldfish' like.

It was an idea I had last week.. a Goldfish looking up at a Shark. But it didn't really turn out how I planned.

At the moment though I'm pulling my hair out over the Concept Art. I've been on it all day and have only just realised the perspective on one of my compositions is wrong!!

Nice choice good luck with it!

My composition for Seville is very similar to the one that Martin showed us last week.. I'm sure it won't matter however once I've painted all over and made it 'seville' like. But I've been working with Perspective for so long today that I even when I'm not looking at my screen, it seems I'm still seeing my composition! This isn't normal.

Have been working on this Project all day, and most probably will be tomorrow as well.

This is still very much a work in progress, my final composition for Modern day Seoul. I've been on it for so long it's almost become a blur.. But I can still recognise that it lacks a lot of things, but I aim to add much more too it, detail included.

Feedback as always is appreciated, thanks.

Any plans for the ground, like additional detail/vehicles/reflections? Right now it's a bit dull vs all the detail in the upper half of the image. Perhaps lower the horizon from the middle to the bottom third? Could be easier than populating the entire floor.

Perhaps making the tiles a bit more reflective could help you add more colour/light to balance it out.

Cheers for the replies lads. I do plan to populate the ground, might look back into the Street Furniture part of my Research and see if I can add anything from there. And will also experiment with more detail, and the reflections.

@KGunn - I layered out the entire floor before I even started any detail work on the buildings. Perspective grids always help, cheers for your feedback.
