It's time. :D

Synopsis:

A few students walking through an abandoned building are picked off one by one by an unknown entity that is wrecking the building around them.

Team:
- Max Last
- Paulo Noguiera

After several visits to an abandoned building in Barnet, we have our main sequence, shot on a Canon XH A1. We know that some other groups have shot footage at this location so we are planning to adapt the environment to something unique.

Main Softwares:
- Nuke
- Maya

A quick shot of the environment:

The unkown entity idea reminds me of the Id monster from the Forbidden Planet.

Or some phantoms from the TV series Smallville.

Hey guys, here is our alpha version. Please excuse the proxy res. Went for a steampunk monster tentacle. Has temp SFX by Chris Painter, temp 3D track by Paulo, and terrible voice acting by me.

What we're working on at the moment:
- Continue Planar track for extra window
- Improve Animation + Modelling + Texturing on steampunk monster
- Complete 3D track at end (manual track)
- Paint out person on last shot
- Shatter the ceiling as the robot smashes through it.

Should keep us busy for the next few weeks. Thanks for looking.

Over acting dude :). Looks cool so far I would suggest some quick edits to get the story moving, ( like in many horror movies or cloverffield) and is this ment to be pov or are we looking at a camera feed if so a UI and video disruption would add to the Blair witch style.

Great work.

What's the plan with the monster thing ? Proper animation, shading, interaction with environment etc ? Can we see it's design ?
